Join us! Now accepting new clients and clinical associates. "Talk Therapy for Everybody"

Hello, I'm Miles principle client advocate and one of the approved clinical supervisors here at Safe TalkSpace.

As a Clinical Supervisor, my approach is one of inclusion, proactivity, and accountability. I’m highly creative and enjoy discussing scenarios, case studies, role-plays, and treatment plans. I like looking toward the future and potential solutions that help clients both repair past hurts and build a solid foundation for positive interactions in the future.

Supervision is complex. Not only does it involve a modicum of teaching through the relationship with an experienced clinician, but it also brings all the dynamics of a client into a relationship that has complexities of its own. The supervisory relationship also includes an evaluative role on the part of the supervisor. Our licensed and state-approved clinical supervisors utilize decades of combined knowledge, education, and experience to support, encourage and collaborate with pre-licensed clinicians to foster a collegial spirit, high levels of trust, and a passion to grow and learn. If you need supervision to satisfy your clinical hours, we are here to support you. As a therapist seeking supervision, you can expect a focus on ethical practice, intentional energy that welcomes and embraces your context and that of your client population. My process is to meet people where they are; view them holistically; non-pathologizing; accounting for both clinical theory and lived experiences. You will find me to be passionate about BIPOC/minority issues, exercising agency and voice, and social justice across all demographics. Expect to engage in conversation around these topics with regards to clients as their identity and experiences are impacted by these things daily. I have additional trainings in clinical hypnotherapy, EFT, RLT, EMDR, Conflict Mediation, and Relationship/Life coaching. I am currently a licensed MFT and managing clinician for Sunrise Couples Therapy, and this online group practice. My future endeavors include completing post-graduate work, writing, & launching our podcast focused on mental health and different approaches to issues based on culture, race, gender, and age. Miles "The bravest acts at times demand the most vulnerability, and you are Brave!"
